Anyidons’ music grows from celebration and cultural pride, carrying Igbo tradition into contemporary highlife without compromise. Born Frank Ifeanyi and also familiarly known as Onye Ichaka, he is a southeastern Nigerian from Mbano, Imo State, who first lit stages alongside his band, Anyidons the King and His Cabinets, earning a reputation for his live performances.
In 2018, winning the Hi-Life Fest organized by Life Lager Beer crowned him “King of Highlife” and brought national attention. In 2019, he embraced the Onye Ichaka identity, reflecting a deeper bond with Igbo culture and a more defined artistic brand.
His 2020 project "Igbotic" marked a rise, followed by "Africanish" and other releases that broadened his reach while staying grounded in tradition.
