Singing exclusively in Portuguese, she built her career within Brazil's sertanejo tradition, earning recognition through years of live performances before achieving national success. Luiza's breakthrough came in 2016 when she formed the duo Luiza & Maurílio with singer Maurílio Delmont. Signed to Som Livre, the pair quickly became one of sertanejo's most celebrated acts, releasing successful projects and hit songs including "S de Saudade," "Pode Sumir," "Parabéns por Me Perder," "Furando o Sinal," and "Inamorável."
