Journey

Born on May 3, 2000, Grace Idowu Ibukunoluwa, professionally known as Grace Idowu, is a Nigerian gospel singer whose musical journey began in the bustling city of Lagos. Immersed in the rich traditions of Nigeria's gospel music, she found early inspiration in the works of artists such as Kierra Sheard and Victoria Orenze. At just 11, her powerful voice emerged, transforming her family gatherings into a personal stage. By the age of 17, Grace released her debut single "Odogwu," a moment that marked her entrance into the larger music industry. In 2020, Grace's career reached new heights when she signed with Brand New Entertainment LLC. Her participation in Mr. Eazi's emPawa Africa program led to the release of "Sokale," a track that showcased her unique integration of gospel with elements of alte and soul, appealing to a wide audience. Her artistry is further validated by two EPs, "Amazing God" and "More," which explore themes of divinity and self-discovery. Currently, Grace is pursuing music studies at Babcock University, enhancing her technical skills and deepening her understanding of music composition. She remains committed to creating music that transcends cultural and regional boundaries, aiming to inspire and uplift through her message of faith and hope.
