Welcome to episode 15 of season 5 of the I Am Black History podcast brought to you by InTheBlack:Canada (ITBC) and DeeP Visions Media. In this episode, I continue my conversation with Jane Braithwaite. Among other things, Jane talks about being a Black occasional teacher in Fenelon Falls and finding teachable moments when students asked about her skin colour. She also shares memories from the Port Dalhousie Emancipation Day Picnic.
