Show notes

It’s time to head out of this world, literally! For this week’s episode 2 Black Guys Talk Godzilla, Aaron Neuwirth and Terence Johnson discuss the first intergalactic entry in the Godzilla series, 1965’s Invasion of Astro-Monster, directed by Ishiro Honda. Listen to hear the guys cover another multi-monster brawler film that finds Godzilla and Rodan teaming up against Monster Zero, while the Xilians make dubious promises to Earth, and Nick Adams brings his American acting chops to Toho. It’s all here, along with favorite moments and thoughts on the wild direction this story takes. Enjoy! This is a public episode.
