This week we are drawn towards a different kind of Godzilla that’s come up a few times over the decades - his animated adventures. On this episode of 2 Black Guys Talk Godzilla, Aaron and Terence move away from the live-action films for a spell to look back at Hanna-Barbera’s Godzilla animated series that ran from 1978 to 1979, as well as Godzilla: The Series, the animated spin-off of the Roland Emmerich film that ran from 1998 to 1999. There’s plenty to say about what both shows offered in terms of their similar premises, animation style, and more. And that’s still before we get to the Godzooky of it all. Enjoy!
