Elisha Kiehmehnyi Mangi, known by the moniker Elisha K, is a Cameroonian artist revered for his vibrant Afrobeat creations. Originating from Limbe in the English-speaking region of Cameroon, Elisha K was born on August 30, 1997. He brings a unique fusion of traditional Cameroonian rhythms and dynamic Afro-pop, making his artistic voice both distinctive and resonant. His musical journey, supported by Akumba Music, began in January 2023 with the release of “Love Me” featuring Rinyu. This track set the stage for further successes such as “Do Not Disturb” and “I Choose You.” On October 13, 2023, Elisha K unveiled his debut EP, "Days of Elisha–Epistle 1," demonstrating his melodic and storytelling prowess. His sophomore project, "Epistle 2," released in July 2024, expanded his repertoire with Amapiano influences and notable collaborations with artists like JZyNo and Ric Hassani. Celebrated as 'Revelation of the Year' at the 2023 CIMFEST, Elisha K engages over 14,000 monthly listeners with streaming hits like “Joana” and “Since 97.” Through these contributions, Elisha K is cementing his role in shaping Cameroon’s vibrant music scene.
