Show notes

For a hundred and thirty years without a founder, Kenya's power shifted through KCB Group, an institution built by Indian-registered London bankers before Kenya existed. From its 1896 Mombasa roots to state-owned nationalisation in 1970, the bank served whichever government held authority, surviving every political cycle unbroken. Its journey continues today under new leadership with ties to the highest offices in State House.
