Ayo Ayoku, known as Wani, is an American-Nigerian Alté musician. Starting as an audio engineer in Chicago, he gained recognition with his SoundCloud cover of Drake's "Blem" in 2017. Inspired, Wani relocated to Nigeria and released his acclaimed debut EP, "Lagos City Vice," in 2018. His track "China Designer" reached 1 million streams and the accompanying video garnered attention. Wani performed alongside notable acts and featured on DRB LasGidi's album. Signing with Apple Music's Platoon, he released singles like "All My Ladies" and the lead single "Times Two (X2)" for his highly anticipated project, "Lagos City Vice 2." With his unique sound, he's rising in the Nigerian Alté music industry.
