He then dazzled the industry with his debut album 'H.I.V (Humanity Is Vanishing)' in 2012, a self-produced project released under his alias Le Monstre. The album artfully wove together traditional Cameroonian sounds and modern hip-hop rhythms, setting a new standard in the genre. As a co-founder of New Bell Music in 2013, Jovi has played a pivotal role in nurturing talents like Reniss. His distinct 'Mboko' style is a vibrant blend of local influences—Bikutsi, Makossa—that marries seamlessly with trap and dancehall elements.
