Inspired by a Yoruba expression associated with strength and defending one's people, "Dagunro" grows into a roughly 11-minute Afro-jazz meditation on spirituality and cultural identity. Salako introduced the work as an honest expression of his artistic vision, valuing authenticity above the pressures of commercial success and digital algorithms.
