Show notes

In 2016, Nigeria started a deradicalisation programme for former Boko Haram terrorists in the Northeast region of the country. The program has been controversial, as the terrorists can neither find a home in their former towns, nor with displaced persons at IDP camps. In this episode, a former terrorist and some IDPs share the experiences during the process. Host: Hameeda Buhari Written by: Kunle Adebajo and edited by: Osato Edokpayi Producer: Abba Gongulong Translation by: Maryam Mustapha, Anita Eboigbe, Aishat Babatunde and Murtala Abdullahi Senior Producers: Osato Edokpayi and Anita Eboigbe Executive Producer: Ahmad Salkida For more stories, visit humangle.ng.
