Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro was the man who declared a Niger Delta Republic before Biafra. He was sentenced to death, then pardoned and made a Major in the Nigerian Army. He died at just 29, but his legacy still echoes today. Rebel to some, hero to others. To the Niger Delta, he remains the man who stood up and said our oil, our right.
