Ernest Danjuma Enebi (aka @TheDanjuma) — born in Kaduna, trained as an engineer in Boston, started in construction in the U.S., and now leads Denda: a creative agency that tells African stories through photography, film and design. In this episode he tells us how the move from Kaduna → Boston → New York shaped his career, why he left construction to build his own companies, and the origins of his photo project and book Waka Waka — a 15-year visual archive of contemporary African life.
