Show notes

Ciao Everyone, In this episode of Diasporahood, our special guest is Alan Omam, founder of Ujaama (IG: @_ujaama_) , a project that shifts the perspective of the African continent and its diaspora. Alan shares with us about his journey about moving from Camerun to Italy at the age of 16 and the Ujaama platform and how it's important for people of African descend to learn history beyond victimhood: we also discuss how this is important to change the narrative around the "Omarion" variant. We also spoke about gender and tribal dynamics within Camerun and how can people from the African Diaspora and from the continent improve their relationship. Enjoy x Benny @chroniclesofabiw @smileybennyy
