Show notes

Happy New Year people, Buon anno from Italy! We are starting the year with a new episode for the Diasporahood segment. Today's guest is my friend, Charisse Dunkley, from Brooklyn New York. She's an amazing, supportive and positive human. She works in production, and she also happens to be a child of Jamaican Immigrants, that they moved to the US in the 80's. What similarities do we have growing up as children of immigrants in the US and in Italy? Do Black Americans have the same experiences, especially being children of immigrants? We would answer some of these questions in this first part and we also try to settle some African Diaspora wars. We also touch on some life topics such as how does it feel to have just turned 30. It's going to be an interesting one. Enjoy x Benny
