Pamela Hasan is the author of Poetic Lessons, a collection of poetry about love, loss, grief, and empowerment. She writes poetry using the pen name Poetic Hummingbird. Through poetry, Poetic Hummingbird uses melodic melodies and rhythmic rhymes to invoke conversations that are often difficult to approach. She is known for writing/reciting poetry for collegiate programs centered around diversity, equity, and inclusion. She poetically weaves words together to encourage her readers to pause and reflect on their individual experiences with love, grief, self-worth, and pain.
