In this week's Black United Front interview, Kehinde Andrews talks with Mitchell Esajas "A Voice of Black Holland," from The Black Archives in Amsterdam. They talk about the great work the archive is doing to put the Black Dutch experience on the map. As well as the situation in Amsterdam, the far right rise, the Dutch king, prime minister, and the mayor of Amsterdam's apologies for enslavement. Not to mention the most popular Dutch tradition, Zwarte Piet (Black Pete) the years of resistance against the racist tradition, and the recent political development.

Mitchell Esajas is co-founder and managing director of The New Urban Collective (NUC), a social enterprise and network for Black and POC, that manages The Black Archives (where Mitchell co-leads day-to-day activities). The Black Archives is an archive with more than 10,000 books and documents, exhibition space, and a cultural center.
