Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Kundai spent the early years of her life with relatives. She embarked on a journey from Zimbabwe and eventually settled in Canada. Presently, she calls Calgary, Alberta, home, where she resides with her immediate family. With an active practice in nursing, Kundai is passionate about children and nature. She overcame her love-hate relationship with writing and achieved a milestone in 2021 by successfully self-publishing a children's book titled A Trip to the Wild.In this episode, Kundai shares her journey of resilience and adaptation across various countries before finally settling in Canada. We reflect on the challenges of preserving our cultural heritage and identity while adapting to the diverse cultural landscapes of the countries we call home. Kundai sheds light on the importance of family throughout her migratory journey and the profound impact these journeys have had on her identity.
