Tremaine Aldon Neverson, professionally known as Trey Songz, is an American singer, songwriter, and actor.
Growing up as a shy child, Trey Songz shied away from singing but as people around him noticed he was good at it, they encouraged him to.
In his early teenage years, Trey started to sing and with his stepfather's help he was introduced to a music producer who eventually linked him up with Atlantic records.
In 2005, Trey released his debut album under the record label.
