Lethiwe Tracy Sibiya, professionally known as Tracy Vocals and affectionately described as “Bread of the Soul,” is a South African singer, songwriter, and makeup artist whose voice carries both emotion and lived experience.
Born and raised in South Africa, Tracy’s musical journey began in the primary school choir, where her natural vocal ability first drew attention — a gift she continued nurturing through to matric. Her early foundations in choral music laid the groundwork for a voice that is both expressive and deeply rooted in soul.
In 2016, she joined the Mzansi Youth Choir, expanding her musical horizons, and later became part of Afrikariz in 2018, gaining experience in performance and ensemble dynamics. In 2019, Tracy stepped confidently into the spotlight as a solo Amapiano artist, bringing her emotive vocal style to one of South Africa’s most popular contemporary genres.
Tracy’s distinct sound has led her to collaborate with some of Amapiano’s most respected producers and creatives, including MDU aka TRP, LeeMckrazy, Fiso El Musica, and Sir Trill. Whether in the studio or on stage, Tracy’s vocals add depth, warmth, and melodic nuance to every track she touches.
Her growing catalogue features memorable collaborations such as “Ewe” with Nandipha808, Philharmonic, and Deestar ZA; “Wamuhle” with Fiso El Musica and Mellow & Sleazy featuring Thatohatsi; “Wam’qanda” with Sfarzo Rtee; and tracks from the collaborative project Welile with ShaunMusiq, Ftears, and Thatohatsi. Each release reflects her ability to marry emotion with groove, creating music that resonates in both intimate moments and dancefloor settings.
In 2025, Tracy’s artistry took her to the prestigious Red Bull Symphonic stage in Johannesburg, where she performed alongside orchestral interpretations of Amapiano, captivating audiences with her soulful delivery and stage presence.
