Toks van der Linde (Albert van der Linde) is a South African former rugby union player and media personality born on 30 December 1969 in Senekal, Free State. He played as a loosehead prop and built his career within South African provincial and international rugby.
He was educated at Hoërskool Paul Erasmus and later attended the University of the Free State, where he continued his development in rugby while studying.
His provincial career included appearances for Free State, Natal, and Western Province, and he also competed in Super Rugby during his playing years.
He made his debut for the South African national team (Springboks) in 1995 against Italy in Rome. His international career continued until 2001, during which he earned multiple test caps and formed part of the post-isolation era of South African rugby.
Following retirement from professional rugby, he transitioned into broadcasting and television. He became a rugby commentator and presenter, building a strong presence in sports media.
