Journey
TitoM, born Thato Seth Mathobela in Mamelodi, Pretoria, is a South African Amapiano producer, DJ, and singer-songwriter who has emerged as one of the genre’s most influential young talents. He began producing music in 2012, initially exploring Quantum Sounds and Bacardi House, before fully embracing Amapiano in 2015. Known for his signature blend of log drums, rhythmic basslines, and chant-driven hooks, TitoM quickly built a reputation for creating infectious, dancefloor-ready tracks.
In 2024, he rose to global prominence with the release of "Tshwala Bam" alongside Yuppe, featuring S.N.E and EeQue. The track topped South African iTunes, inspired a viral dance challenge, and won Song of the Year at the 2025 Trace Awards and Best Viral Challenge at the 2024 Metro FM Music Awards. Signed to Boundary Entertainment and Gentle Soul Records, he followed up with his 2025 album Fellas, solidifying his international influence in the Amapiano genre.
