Salau Aliu Olayiwola, better known by his stage name Testimony Jaga, was born on March 9, 1987, in Oyo State, Nigeria. The celebrated artist's roots trace back to Ogun State, and his music is a colorful tapestry of gospel, Fuji, and Afro-pop soundscapes, forging a path that continuously redefines gospel music. Jaga's sonic journey began under the mentorship of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome at LoveWorld Records, where he transformed his passion into a thriving ministry resonating with audiences worldwide.
His breakthrough came with the 2020 hit single "Gone for Life," catapulting him to prominent recognition within Nigeria's gospel community and beyond. This success followed notable accolades, including Song of the Year at LIMA 2018, showcasing his growing influence.
