Still Fresh, born Sékou Niaré in 1993 in Paris, France, is a French rapper and singer of Malian heritage who emerged as part of the new wave of Parisian hip-hop in the early 2010s. Raised in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, he developed an early interest in music and began writing and performing as a teenager. His talent quickly attracted the attention of music industry professionals Xavier and Moblack, leading to his early association with major French urban music networks.
In 2010, Still Fresh signed with Sony Music / Nouvelle École, marking the beginning of his professional recording career. He first gained visibility through appearances on the hip-hop compilation "À la Fuck You," including the collaborative track “Sur le terrain” alongside Mister You. His early exposure positioned him within France’s rapidly evolving rap scene.
He released his debut studio album, "Mes rêves," in 2011, which established his melodic yet street-influenced style. This was followed by "Marche ou rêve" in 2013, further solidifying his presence in French rap through emotionally driven storytelling and polished production. In 2012, he collaborated with S.Pri Noir on the mixtape "N.E," strengthening his reputation in the underground circuit.
Still Fresh achieved broader commercial recognition with "Cœur noir" in 2017, which reached gold certification in France. He later embraced the rise of trap music with projects such as "Trapop" in 2018 and "Trapop 2" in 2019, showcasing a shift toward darker, more rhythmic production styles.
