Sedile Mohalane is a renowned South African vocalist and songwriter who became a central figure in the soulful house movement of the mid-2000s. She is most famously recognized for her extensive work with producer Terry Pinana (Uncle Terry) and his Silk T Production team, which was a vital creative partner for Sony Music South Africa.
Sedile is celebrated for her enchanting performance on "La Musique," a standout track from Uncle Terry's 2006 self-titled album. Her collaboration on the album also included the massive anthem "Music Keeps Me Alive," which remains one of the most respected songs in the South African house catalog.
