Noel Bartholomew Simms, a.k.a Scully, was a renowned rocksteady & reggae musician, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist from Jamaica.
As a solo artist, he was one of the first Jamaican musicians to incorporate Amharic phrases in his songs.
Simms, as a talented percussionist, performed with several bands and collaborated with notable artists.
In 2004, he received a Badge of Honor from the Jamaican government in recognition of his contribution to Jamaican music.
Despite losing his sight to glaucoma, Simms continued recording and writing songs until his death.
