Sashman is a South African Kwaito artist and producer who rose to fame during the early 2000s. He is most recognized for his deep affiliation with TS Records, the legendary label co-founded by DJ Sbu and TK Nciza. As a key member of the "Loxion" music movement, Sashman’s signature was his authentic township grit, which made him a go-to collaborator for artists.
He played a crucial role in the success of the masked Kwaito star Mzekezeke, frequently appearing as a vocalist and hype-man in his team. Sashman is perhaps most beloved for his contribution to the classic tribute track "Lala Kahle," where he performed alongside Ntando, Robbie Malinga, and Brown Dash.
