He began his journey in music during the late 1980s, performing with local bands before stepping into production and songwriting. Robbie rose to prominence through his solo works and his exceptional ability to produce hit songs for other artists, including Kelly Khumalo, Kabelo Mabalane, Arthur Mafokate, and Ntando Bangani.
Among his notable projects were albums such as "Lilizela Mzantsi," "African Love Story," and "The Duets," the latter showcasing his collaborations with a range of artists. His songs reflected love, pride, and daily life in South Africa crafted with sincerity and musical finesse.
