A key figure in the “New Age” Amapiano movement, Pushkin RSA is known for his rhythmic vocal delivery, often inspired by Mbaqanga, a 1960s urban township genre blending traditional Zulu harmonies with Western jazz and soul.He rose to widespread recognition with his track “Zulu,” which sparked a viral trend on TikTok, with fans creating and sharing content under the #ZuluChallenge.
