Pieter Naudé was a prominent South African singer, widely recognized for his high-energy performances and deep ties to the country’s most famous musical family.
Born in Namibia, he began his career in the 1990s as part of the duo Zenith before performing alongside his sister, country superstar Juanita du Plessis, in the band Jupidu. In 2002, he relocated to South Africa, helping his sister as Backup before transitioning into a successful solo artist.
Naudé is celebrated for his vibrant popular albums like “Gee My Net Vlerke,” and “Wag Vir Jou.” His music blends traditional country-pop with distinctive sound.
Deeply committed to his Christian faith, he frequently contributes to gospel projects within the Du Plessis musical dynasty. His battle against an aggressive form of cancer has struck a chord which lead to his death in 2025.Pieter remains a respected entertainer, known for his humble persona and ability to connect with diverse audiences.
