Nape Leon, born Nape Archibald Boshielo in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo, is a South African singer, songwriter, guitarist, and music producer. He discovered his musical passion at age eight, performing in church before mastering the guitar and developing a deep affinity for jazz and session music.
Nape Leon rose to prominence as an elite studio collaborator within South Africa's house and hip-hop spheres. His definitive breakthrough arrived with his vocal work on the iconic 2013 single "Whistling To Bed" alongside Lulo Café and Black Motion. He achieved further commercial success providing vocals for DJ Fortee’s "Game Of Love" via Sony Music, and contributing to Riky Rick’s hit record "Bambalela".
As a solo artist, he has showcased his production versatility on independent tracks like "That Lazy Song" and through his project Lion of the North, maintaining a stellar reputation for vocal elegance.
