Morravey, born Daniella Ibinabo Daniel in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, is a fast-rising singer and songwriter whose music blends Afrobeats, R&B, amapiano, and highlife. Of Kalabari origin, she discovered her voice early, performing in school events, church choirs, and local gatherings, steadily building confidence as a performer.
Her career began in 2020 with covers posted on TikTok and Instagram, where her emotive vocals quickly gained attention. In 2023, a viral video of her singing caught the eye of global superstar Davido, leading to her signing with Davido Music Worldwide (DMW). She made her mainstream debut on Davido’s acclaimed album Timeless (2023), featuring on the track “In the Garden.”
Later that year, Morravey released her debut EP RAVI (2023), a five-track project featuring “What Is Love,” “High Again,” “Condo,” “My Baby,” and “Magician” with Davido. The EP reached No. 33 on the TurnTable Top 50 Albums chart, earned international traction on streaming platforms, and entered Apple Music charts in the UK and Cameroon.
