Simphiwe Ncube, popularly known as Loxion Deep, is a South African DJ, record producer, pianist, and songwriter celebrated for his contributions to Amapiano music. Born and raised in Orlando West, Soweto, he developed a strong interest in music during his childhood and later transformed that passion into a successful career. Known for his soulful melodies, jazz influences, and rich piano arrangements, he has become one of the most respected producers in South Africa’s dance music scene.
His fans and fellow musicians often refer to him as the “Soulful King” because of his distinctive sound.
Loxion Deep began producing music around 2008 and gradually built a following through independent releases and performances. His breakthrough arrived when he collaborated with Kabza De Small on "Stokoloko," a song that helped introduce his music to a wider audience and strengthened his position within the growing Amapiano movement.
Over the years, he has released several notable projects, including "Xina," "Children of the World," "Legend (Deluxe Edition)," "Deus Da Musica," and "The Book of Amapiano." These releases showcase his ability to blend traditional South African influences with modern electronic sounds.
Today, Loxion Deep continues to perform, produce, and collaborate with leading artists, helping to expand the global reach of Amapiano while remaining one of its most innovative and influential creators.
