Lauren Pritchard, professionally known as LOLO, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress who has spent two decades bridging the gap between Broadway theater and alternative rock. Born on December 27, 1987, in Jackson, Tennessee, she began her journey in a region steeped in musical history. At just 16, she moved to Los Angeles, briefly living with Lisa Marie Presley while navigating the music industry. Her first major breakthrough arrived in 2006 when she originated the role of the runaway teenager "Ilse" in the original Broadway cast of the Tony-winning musical Spring Awakening.
Following her success on stage, she moved to the United Kingdom, signing with Universal/Island Records to release her debut album, Wasted in Jackson (2010). Under her birth name, the record blended soul and pop, earning critical praise for her raspy, powerful vocals. In 2013, she rebranded as LOLO, adopting a grittier, alternative sound. This era saw her gain global recognition through major collaborations, most notably providing the soulful vocals for Panic! At The Disco's hit single "Miss Jackson" and the uncredited vocal sample for Fall Out Boy’s "Centuries."
Beyond her own releases, including In Loving Memory of When I Gave a Shit (2016), she has become a highly respected songwriter. Her work on Panic! At The Disco's Death of a Bachelor earned her a Grammy nomination, and she co-wrote the global anthem "High Hopes." In 2026, LOLO remains a vital independent force. She is currently touring her intimate "The Piano and Me Tour" and leading arts initiatives in her hometown, continuing to prove her versatility as a performer and community leader.
