Lisandro Monteiro Furtado, professionally known as Lisandro Cuxi, was born on 17 July 1999 in Torres Vedras, Portugal, to Cape Verdean parents. At the age of nine, he relocated to Cannes, France, without knowing the language, a challenge he overcame by immersing himself in music and school, discovering early on that singing and dance could be powerful tools for self-expression and connection.
