Lenderd Muller, stage name Len Muller, is a South African Afrikaans singer-songwriter whose music is rooted in acoustic pop, contemporary Afrikaans music, and reflective lyricism. Originally from Richards Bay, he relocated to Pretoria in 2011 to pursue a solo career after performing with the alternative rock group DieFoute. His independent EP, released in 2012, introduced his songwriting style and marked the beginning of his professional recording career.
He achieved broader recognition with the release of his debut studio album, "Doodgewone Avontuur" in 2015. The project featured collaborations with notable South African musicians and songwriters, including Stef Bos, Retief Burger, Bouwer Bosch, and Jattie de Beer. Several songs from the album received radio airplay, while “Smag na Jou” was featured on the soundtrack of the Afrikaans film 'Strikdas.'
In 2017, Muller released "Oog van die Storm," an album that expanded his acoustic sound with instruments such as banjo, cello, harmonica, and acoustic guitar. The single “Ek Glo” further established his reputation as a songwriter centered on faith, resilience, and personal reflection. His later releases, including "Vrede," "Sterrewals," and the single “Vir die Een Wat Geval Het,” continued exploring themes of spirituality, relationships, personal growth, and everyday experiences.
