DJ LeSoul, born Nonkululeko Mdlalose, is a South African DJ, producer, vocalist, and radio personality from KwaMashu in KwaZulu-Natal. She developed her love for music through church, where she learned to play the piano and sing in the choir from a young age.
Inspired by house music and female DJs in South Africa, she began building her career in the early 2010s and later became known for her energetic Afro-house and Afro-tech sound.
LeSoul gained recognition through songs such as “Ayabonga,” “Amabele,” and “Sebenza,” while also working with artists including TNS, Oscar Mbo, and Deep Narratives.
Apart from music production and live performances, she has worked as a radio host on Gagasi FM and Metro FM. Her creative style, strong stage presence, and ability to mix music without headphones have made her one of South Africa’s respected female DJs and producers.
