LastBornDiroba (born Lethabo Omolemo Tjale) is a South African DJ, producer, and sound engineer from Ga‑Rankuwa, north of Pretoria. He began DJing at age 12 and transitioned to full-time music production in 2014, developing a high-energy style that blends Amapiano, Gqom, House, Hip-Hop, Kwaito, and Jazz.
Tjale first gained attention by releasing tracks for free download before focusing on digital streaming platforms. His debut album, "Introductory" (2020), was followed by the self-titled collaborative project "Last Born Diroba" with BlvckFolksMuziQ, establishing his presence in South Africa’s electronic music scene. Subsequent releases include the "Last Born Diroba Series" (Volumes 4–10), "STANCE MUSIC" (2024), "Ghetto Fabulous" EP (2025), and "UNDERRATED" (2025).
He has collaborated with prominent artists, including DJ Maphorisa, Mellow & Sleazy, Scotts Maphuma, Thabza Tee, Focalistic, DBN Gogo, and Xduppy, appearing on notable tracks such as “Hape Le Hape” with CowBoii and Focalistic, “Okarobala” (CowBoii & Focalistic), “Crocodile” with Scotts Maphuma and Colkaze, and “Weh Sweetie” with TNK MusiQ and Scotts Maphuma. His initial projects on prominent platforms demonstrate his growth from electronic sounds to mainstream Amapiano production, solidifying his status as a flexible and productive presence in South African music.
