Journey
Khalil Harrison (born Mxolisi Nkosi) is a South African Amapiano artist, singer, songwriter, record producer, and sound engineer from Nkomazi, Mpumalanga. He discovered his passion for music at age 11 in 2012, becoming the first in his family to pursue music, though he later joined his musically inclined relatives in running Kgasi Records. Starting with R&B and hip-hop in 2015, he eventually embraced Amapiano, a career-defining shift that has shaped his rise.
His breakthrough came when Tyler ICU welcomed him into Baby Blue Entertainment (BBE), leading to collaborations with top names such as DJ Maphorisa, Kelvin Momo, DBN Gogo, DJ Oskido, and Diamond Platnumz. His debut album Music in My Soul (2023) introduced him widely, featuring Angisekho Kuwe alongside Gaba Cannal and Makhanj. Later that year, his single Jealousy earned international attention, even receiving a co-sign from Chris Brown. He followed with Uzwile Bathini (2025), featuring Tyler ICU, Leemckrazy, and Kelvin Momo, solidifying his status as a rising Amapiano star with global reach.
