Journey
Ali Djomossoukpa Junior Aké, stage name Fior 2 Bior, is a Nigerian-born Ivorian rapper, singer, and entertainer. He spent his early childhood between Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire before settling in Abidjan, where he was raised in the working-class district of Anoumabo, a culturally rich area known for producing influential Ivorian artists.
He began his journey in music around 2017–2018, initially gaining attention through viral social media videos and comedic freestyle performances, where his eccentric personality and humor helped him stand out in Côte d’Ivoire’s digital entertainment space.
Fior 2 Bior’s breakthrough came after being spotted and supported by industry figures, leading to early recording opportunities and the release of his first official single “Kpokpokouo Souhalele”, which introduced his unique blend of rap, street performance, and comedic expression.
His style is often described as a fusion of hip-hop, coupé-décalé, afro-influenced rhythms, and internet humor, sometimes referred to as “Gbogbarada,” a self-styled artistic identity that reflects his playful, chaotic, and expressive performance persona.
Fior 2 Bior rose to international visibility with the viral hit “Gnonmi avec lait” (2021) featuring French rapper Niska, which became a massive success across Francophone Africa and Europe, significantly boosting his recognition.
Since then, he has released multiple singles such as “Godo Godo,” “O’cho,” and “Victago,” continuing to build a reputation as one of the most unconventional and entertaining voices in modern Ivorian urban music.
Beyond music, Fior 2 Bior is known for his strong social media presence, controversial humor, and unpredictable public persona, which have contributed heavily to his popularity and cultural impact within youth-driven African pop culture.
