Born in St. Andrew, Jamaica, on July 22, 1980, he grew up in a household where Christianity was central, with both parents actively involved in ministry. Church life wasn’t separate from daily routine; it was part of it, and that environment became his earliest introduction to music. He began learning keyboard as a child while participating in church services, slowly building familiarity with harmony and structure through regular involvement.
By his teenage years, he was already contributing musically in church settings, refining his approach through repetition and practical experience rather than formal training alone. That early foundation later carried into his work as a recording artist and producer.
His professional journey began in the late 1990s as part of a gospel group before he moved into a solo direction. In 2004, he released Island Worship, a project that marked his entry as a solo voice in Jamaican gospel music. It was followed by "Island Worship 2," along with albums such as "Hide Away," "Destiny," and "Don’t Count Me Out," each extending his reach within and beyond Jamaica.
A defining moment came with “Make You Smile,” which went on to win Song of the Year at the Caribbean Gospel Marlin Awards, strengthening his position in the regional gospel space. Years later, “Beautiful Day” found renewed attention when a school performance video helped it circulate widely online, introducing his music to a broader audience again.
Alongside recording, he has taken part in youth outreach and collaborations that highlight music as a source of encouragement. His work continues to sit firmly within Jamaican gospel music, balancing songwriting, production, and ministry-focused performance.
