DAVINHOR, aka Davinhor Pacman, is a Congolese-French rapper and songwriter known for her confident voice and growing presence in the French hip-hop scene. Born Davinhor Makwala in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, she spent her early childhood there before moving to Paris, France, with her family in 2000 during a period of political instability in her home country. Growing up in France shaped her worldview and artistic identity. Before pursuing music, DAVINHOR was passionate about sports and trained in athletics from a young age. Her involvement in competitive sports helped develop the discipline and determination that later influenced her work as a musician.
DAVINHOR began exploring music in her late teens and started releasing songs independently around 2018. Her early singles, including "Ligue 1," "Teresa Mendoza," and "Couronne," introduced listeners to her direct lyrical style and confident delivery. These releases helped her gain attention within the French rap community while building a growing audience online.
In 2019, she gained wider recognition after appearing on the well-known rap radio platform "Planète Rap," hosted by Niska. The exposure marked an important turning point in her career and contributed to her signing with Universal Music France and Capitol Music France. During this period, she continued releasing music and strengthening her presence in the French hip-hop scene.
In 2020, DAVINHOR introduced the freestyle series “Coopérer,” which showcased her lyrical ability and helped maintain her growing momentum. The following year, she appeared in the documentary "Reines: pour l'amour du rap," a project that highlighted the voices and experiences of women in French rap. A major milestone in her career came in March 2022 with the release of her debut album "Indomptable," a project that reflected her confidence, personal experiences, and artistic development. She also performed in the Hip Hop Symphonique concert series, where rap artists collaborate with orchestras, further expanding her artistic reach.
DAVINHOR has continued building her discography with releases such as "Karaba Partie I (2024)" and "Karaba Partie II (2026)," as well as singles like "Petit à Petit," "EPASUKA" with Didi B, and AHOO alongside Chilla, Le Juiice, Vicky R, and Bianca Costa.
