CheekyChizzy, born Chisom Ifeachor Afoamakachukwu, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, producer, and sound designer recognized for his distinctive blend of Afrobeats and Afropop. He began exploring music at a very young age, reportedly producing his first track at just eight years old. Early exposure to musical instruments and production laid the foundation for his versatile career. Originally from Nigeria, CheekyChizzy has also spent significant time in Los Angeles, where he further developed his solo artistry.
His professional music journey began in 2006, initially gaining recognition as a producer and songwriter before establishing himself as a performing artist. His style, often referred to as “Confucius music,” combines storytelling with rich rhythms and meaningful lyrics. Over the years, he has built a reputation for blending contemporary African sounds with innovative production techniques.
CheekyChizzy’s early releases helped him gain recognition in the Nigerian music scene.
