Carlo Leone is a South African country and Afrikaans singer known for his long-running contribution to local music. His powerful country vocals and energetic performances have earned him popularity among Afrikaans music audiences across the country.
Raised in Vanderbijlpark, South Africa, Carlo developed a love for music during his school years and formed a band called The Vultures. His father, who was of Italian heritage, encouraged him to first complete a professional career before fully entering the music industry.
Carlo’s music blends country, gospel, rock, and Afrikaans dance influences. Over the years, he has performed alongside artists such as Steve Hofmeyr and Lance James. He has released several albums, earned SA Country Melodie Awards, and was recognized among RSG’s Top 100 Afrikaans singers.
Today, he continues recording and performing while operating his own studio, CBL Productions.
