Black Chinese, born Vukona Amanda Maswanganyi, is a South African Tsonga female singer-songwriter, fashion designer, and co-owner of AMBRE MUSIC (PTY) LTD.
She blends her unique fashion sense with traditional Xitsonga melodies and rhythms, fusing them with modern international production to create a signature style and sound at the intersection of fashion, EDM, and Afropop.
Her debut EP, "Ice Pop" (released 27 February 2025), features two Xitsonga EDM tracks and one Afropop track. The project has received a positive reception both locally and internationally, gaining nearly a million streams across major streaming platforms within a year of its release.
