Journey
Born Siyabonga Gift Nhlapo, B6 Rider aka B6 Rider RSA, is a South African Amapiano vocalist, songwriter, and recording artist associated with the Sgija and Amapiano subgenres. Known among fans as “The Voice of Amapiano,” he has built recognition through vocal-driven collaborations across South Africa’s dance music scene.
His vocal style combines melodic phrasing, rhythmic chants, and narrative delivery, complementing the log-drum basslines and piano-led structures that define Amapiano. Active in music circles across Pretoria and Johannesburg, he has contributed to the genre’s underground and club-driven culture through frequent collaborations and streaming releases.
B6 Rider is affiliated with Ejarden Entertainment, where he often collaborates with producer T.M.A_Rsa. His discography includes the 2022 project "The Voice of Amapiano," featuring tracks such as “Bula,” “Siyakhona,” and “Ithemba.” Additional releases include “Hamba Nawe” (with El Mai Muziq and MVELO RSA), “Dlala nge Ndunu” (with Ltb Konka and Nampiiey), and the collaborative album "Ben 10" with Bena Lass SA.
He has also appeared on Busta 929’s "Back to the Streets" project on the track “Sise Alex.” His catalogue includes collaborations with T.M.A_Rsa, Nampiiey, Groot Man, Msholozi, Caltonic SA, and Nation 365.
