Journey
Aristide Igenukwayo Joviare, known professionally as Alli Talesi, is a Rwandan singer-songwriter who stands out with his eclectic blend of musical genres. Born on June 20, 2001, in Bugesera, Alli's journey through music began early amidst his formative years in various Rwandan locales, influenced significantly by the cultural dynamism of the Gashora refugee camp. As the youngest in a family with a strong international history, his upbringing shaped his versatile musical palette. A gifted student, he graduated with top marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Entrepreneurship from the esteemed College Saint Ignace-Mugina, a known cradle of Rwandan musical talent. Currently, he deftly juggles a Civil Engineering program at the University of Rwanda with his musical pursuits.
Alli's music, which synthesizes R&B, Afropop, traditional Rwandan folk, and Zouk, draws inspiration from global icons like Chris Brown, Enrique Iglesias, and Justin Bieber. His discography, featuring tracks such as "Uwo Ushaka," "Urugo Ruhire," and "Over the Moon," has resonated widely, garnering airplay across Africa and Europe. This young polyglot and musical innovator is building a loyal following by bridging traditional sounds with contemporary beats, promising a bright future in the global music scene.
