Aidonia, born Sheldon Aitana Ricardo Lawrence, is a Jamaican dancehall and reggae artist from Kingston, Jamaica. Known for his energetic delivery, clever lyricism, and commanding presence on the mic, he has established himself as one of the more enduring voices in Caribbean music. His stage name, Aidonia, has become synonymous with a sharp, high-energy approach to dancehall that has resonated with audiences across more than two decades of recorded output.
Active since the early 2000s, Aidonia developed his career through an extensive network of independent labels, releasing music through imprints including 4th Genna Music, Hit City Records, Head Concussion Records, Di Genius Records, Troyton Music, and many others, reflecting the collaborative, multi-label ecosystem that characterizes Jamaica's dancehall industry. His recorded catalog spans tracks such as "Guh Hard (Live Life)," "Psychopathic," "Rat Trap (Intro)," "House Corner," and the "Y2K Acoustic Dancehall Gold: Soul Food Riddim," demonstrating range across dancehall and reggae formats.
