Adili, widely believed to be Adili Mkwera and also known in some circles as Hisabati, is a Tanzanian rapper, producer, and promoter through his Chapakazi Studios in Mbeya. Over the years, he has built a reputation within Tanzania’s hip-hop community for both his music and his commitment to supporting the genre’s growth. At times when other musical styles gained more commercial attention, Adili voiced support for maintaining hip-hop’s presence and encouraging local artists to remain authentic to the craft.
Performing under names such as Adili Chapakazi, he has released singles including Dua featuring Rama Dee in 2021. He is also credited on collaborative tracks such as Chagua Moja with T.i.D., Langa, and Black Rhino.
Beyond recording, Adili has participated in projects designed to uplift underground rappers and strengthen the hip-hop scene in Tanzania. Through studio work, mentorship, and promotion, he continues to contribute to the development of East African hip-hop culture.
